Event Description
Troop 603 will camp in tents and participate in the LaSalle Council First Aid Meet. The First Aid Meet features first aid scenarios in a round robin rotation. Each Patrol receives a ribbon and individual participants receive a First Aid Meet patch. The traveling First Aid Trophy will be awarded to the top Patrol. The Traveling CPR Trophy will be awarded to the best CPR performance. Each Patrol must have a First Aid Kit. Include: blankets, poles for stretcher, triangular bandages, roller gauze, scissors, splint padding (such as small hand towels), wood splints (for arm and legs), gauze compress pads, cloth binders (for binding splints), wash basin. Equipment shall be of the "improvised type" and shall be restricted to that which would be readily available in an emergency. (Metal, commercial type stretchers and traction splints excluded). Each Scout should have a Personal First Aid Kit.
